IMPORTANT TRYOUT NOTICE: We understand and appreciate that some families will be unavailable for tryouts at the scheduled time - it is summer after all! For that reason, we will be adding late tryout dates for those that are unable to attend the scheduled times. To be eligible for this, however, the player must register for the regularly scheduled tryout and send a request for a late tryout to EYH General Manager Jerry Weir at hockey-coach@hotmail.com. Registration and requests for late tryouts must be received 3 days prior to the start of the scheduled tryout. Late tryout dates will be posted shortly.

EYHBC Wants You… To take Advantage of Your Military Service!
The Everett Youth Hockey Booster Club (EYHBC) is honored to announce the awarding of SIX $1,500 Individual Grants from the Defending The Blue Line foundation. Defending The Blue Line actively works to ensure that children of military members are afforded every opportunity to participate in the game of hockey. They provide equipment, hockey camps, NHL Tickets, and grants for association fees based on status and rank of military parent(s). All military branches are included and the following military statuses are eligible to apply to EYHBC to receive one of six grants available: Family of KIA, Combat Wounded, Currently Deployed, Currently Serving, and Veterans (Honorably discharged Veterans who have deployed to a combat zone as defined by the DOD or VA). EYHBC will award one grant each month for a six month period. Should more than one family apply in a given month, the EYHBC Board will vote on which family will receive the grant. Families that are not awarded the grant may then reapply for the next month until all six grants have been awarded. The grant money must be used for related hockey expenses and the funds will be controlled within the EYHBC's restricted account to ensure they are properly utilized in direct support of Defending The Blue Line's mission.

These grants for $1500 will have a tremendous impact for those families that have a loved one that is currently serving or has honorably served our country in a combat zone. We salute our veterans and are extremely pleased to have been selected by the Defending The Blue Line foundation to award these grants on their behalf. If you would like to learn more about Defending The Blue Line and how you might be able to assist them in their mission, click HERE.

To submit your request to be considered for this grant, please e-mail info@eyhbc.org today. Please include full name, service, rank, active/reserve/retired/honorably discharged status, and period in which the individual served in a DOD/VA defined combat zone. Also include how this grant could benefit your family.

NOTE: If you have applied and received a hardship Scholarship from the EYHBC you are not eligible for this grant per EYHBC policy.
