Turcotte Stickhandling School coming to Everett and gives back to EYHBC
December 18, 2010

EYHBC is very happy to announce that the Turcotte Stickhandling Hockey School has agreed to donate up to $30 of each skater’s tuition back to the Everett Youth Hockey Booster Club who sign up for the summer instructional event taking place August 8-12, 2011 at the Comcast Community Ice Rink. This generous gesture was proceeded by a donation of two scholarships to the hockey school while in Everett, which can be bid on at the 1st annual dinner and fund raising auction February 12, 2011 at the Edward C. Hansen conference center at Comcast Arena.

The hockey school travels all over Canada and the United States teaching stickhandling skills and generally accepts up to 36 skaters per session which translates into an average skater to instructor ratio of 8 to 1. During each session each student will be given instruction and taught 8 basic moves which are the foundation of all stickhandling moves. The student will also be taught power skating, puck protection, shooting, passing and pass receiving. A report card at the end of the week will be given to show the skater's progress.

Click the provided link to easily enroll in one of the two classes being offered in Everett for Mite to Bantam aged players. Space is extremely limited so sign up now before the session is full.
